how serious is having low white blood count?
Before I was dianoised with RA, my blood test showed that I have a low white blood count(3.50) and a low red blood count(4.02). Now that I am one methotrexate, the wbc has gone lower, how serious is this? mejcrap

My blood tests for RA are all within normal limits, but my symptoms are all positive... patients, they get total normal blood results back, but that does not mean it is not RA. Is it true that I could still have RA with blood work in normal ranges? Horse Lady...crap

What should I expect when I see the Rheumatologist for the first time?
I have been referred to a rheumatologist.  Just wondering what to expect. I have symptoms of RA and a blood test showing inflammation. RA factor is negative. I am 56 years old, female, and have been having joint pain for almost 20 years.  Will have to have both knees replaced sometime in the future. Thank...crap

Is it possible to have RA if rheumatoid factor is in normal range?
I am 35 and recently had blood work done.  My father had RA in his thirties. I have had joint pain (but no swelling) for a few years now.  It seems to be getting worse.  My ANA came back positive but my rheumatoid factor was in normal range.  Can I have RA with a normal rheumatoid factor?  I'm worried...crap

Well, I just got back from my much anticipated rheumy visit.  I do have RA.  I knew all along, but the rheumy's initial doubt cast doubt for me as well. We went over my blood tests.  My PCP had already DX me, but suggested I see the rheumy for confirmation. He was doubtful because the physical exam didn...crap

Newbie to RA
Hello, I am newly diagnosed with RA, based on about 4 months of symptoms and a "very" positive anti-CCP test, after the RF and other blood tests came back negative.  I am preparing to meet with my rheumatologist again on the 29th to discuss medication therapy and options, and would like some advice...crap

Liver function ALT 60
Should I be concerned of latest blood work? I suffer from RA take Metho inj, Humira, Oxycotin 40mg x 4 daily, ambien CR. My liver function ALT 60 and inflamation marker at 32. My rummy said borderline and will observe.. ??? what am I to think about this latest blood work? please any takers...crap

I am wondering about RA and
My blood work 3 mths ago was pretty much normal for RA. When I first started getting blood work done.. My inflammation factor was very high.. that too is just about normal. I have been in alot of pain past two days, lumbar spine.  But also I have been having joint pain in my hands, feet, ankles...crap
