IS BONE SCAN ACCURATE?
I am 6 months out from radiation and I had a bone scan and x-rays  which came back positive for cancer in the 11 rib. Blood test says the markers are fine and it shows no breast cancer cells. The bone scan was compared with the one I had a year ago. Do I need a pet scan? Is the bone scan right? catfishcrap

I was diagnosed with breast cancer 10/10. I had a radical rt masectomy 11/10. I have no med ins. an
I have made serious nutritional changes and have increased the alkaline in my system. Also taking supplements to better oxygenate my blood. CT scan is clear, labs are good, I feel GREAT. I'm not interested in the chemo & radiation. Since these are adjuvant therapies, then why not preserve my strength and immune...crap

Preparing for Radiation
Thursday Dec 20 - I had a CT scan today, and got two dots applied to my sides. This was the first planning session for the radiation treatments. The next will be Friday next week. I also met with my medical oncologist. We discussed the hormone therapies - she concurs that I do not need chemo, thank...crap

I suffer from nighttime headaches. They started about 3-4 years ago and occur 1-2 times every night
My GP has tried several preventatives without success. A CT Scan was clear... various preventatives and I have tried other alternative types of treatments and exercise. I have had a CT Scan... and quickly radiates up to the base of the skull before freezing the entire neck. I am able to do neck exercises...crap

Additional medication after chemo and radiation treatments.
having another PET scan after the chemo treatments are over but before radiation treatments begins.   Even with insurance, we are still out of pocket a little over $1,500.00 for the first PET scan.  We paid  $301 the day... Had lumpectomy  two months ago.    Have 4 more chemo treatments and then 33 radiation  treatments...crap

I had breast cancer 8 yrs ago and had chemo and 9wks of radiation daily.
I have smoked for many yrs and have cut way back, but heard the radiation and cat scans can also contribute to the COPD. I had H1 and pneomonia in Oct and that seems to have sent it in to high gear? Janicecrap
