Has anyone tried Quinine as a treatment for RA?
Has anyone with RA found any benefits to using Quinine? I'm a chronic pain patient from an injury accident 11 years ago. I have chronic pain from nerve damage and scar tissue.  After having my 3rd Spinal... me to try Methotrexate, but I was too scared to try it. So he just put me on Quinine as an alternate treatment...crap

I recently had a reaction to Plaquenil. I'm allergic to quinine, any other drugs food w/that????
I recently started Plaquenil for RA and had a "sever" reactions.  Complete body rash and peel.  Just short of being hospitalized.  Seems I'm allergic to quinine.  Are there any natural foods, or other drugs I should stay clear of that might have quinine?  Donnacrap

Is Quinine safe?
I'm waiting for surgery, maybe 2 weeks or more,  pain is terrible, taking Hydrocodone,and tramadol.  Nothing helps,   Is Quinine safe until surgery?  It seems to dull the pain some. Bonnie W Lewiscrap

treatments are benadryl (e.g. 25 mg) at bedtime and quinine sulfate. Both are reasonably effective and reasonable safe, though quinine can cause low platelets counts. Benadryl is over-the-counter; quinine...crap

Are there any affects on anti-depressants with anti-malarial drugs?

PEP, vomiting, retaking meds
of quinine. I was afraid the quinine would affect the PEP. I took another pill just in case after vomiting. My question is, would the meds be sufficiently absorbed after 5 hours?
