My hopes lie in it not... on your reasoning for saying worry is unwarranted is due to this apparent puncture not...crap

Hi, I got a puncture wound in the bottom in step of my foot in the shower from a plastic sharp shampoo cap. It bled a lot and the next day I could hardly walk on it. My foot Puncture wound looked and acted infected, yet the tissue /blood cultures were negative... line and Vancomycin.  I did the IV drip by myself 2x daily for 10 days. Could the wound have been infected despite the negative culture?  I did have high monocytes, Eos, Baso%, etc.  The wound healed...crap
