Had BC in 1993 w/ mod. masc and chemo-DX w/ Mets to body lymph nodes and ovaries. Bone scan clear. Would this be recurring? Currently on Femara (9/23/10) Thanks!

Aromasin and vaginal discharge

I have been taking Aromasin for five days now and find I now have a watery pale green to yellow discharge from my vagina. It does not smell but is itchy like thrush I also have a burning sensation when passing urine...crap

Will side effects of Femara stay in my system for 5 to 6 yrs. after I stop the drug?
My oncologist said the drug will stay in my system for 5 to 6 years after I stop taking the Femara.  I would like to know if the side effects (bone pain, hair loss) will also remain up to this length of time? Ruthcrap

Well, here I am again.  Basically doing well except for my dilemma as to whether I should try the Femara after having such bad side effects from the Arimidex.  I know that ultimately it is my decision.  What I can't seem to find is anyone who really can tell me the percentage of benefit that these drugs...crap
