why can my child pay attention when he plays video games and watchs TV but struggles on focusing with homework and small tasks.  He is in the "gifted" program and has good grades.  He struggles and is scattered.  He was diagnosed with ADD this year.  It is hard to see him as gifted when the ADD takes over...crap
