I have triple negative, BRCA1 positive, breast cancer.
My mastectomy and PET scan have not indicated a spread.  Several choices have been presented fro chemo - TAC, AC-T, clinical trial with Avastin.  I need to begin asap - any advice is appreciated. Thanks! Anne Annecrap

My scar has become red and sore. I was rubbng it to make it go away. Should I go to the Doctors?
It has been 4 years since my lumpectomy.  I just had a pet scan that says I am cancer free.  So I started to rub my scar to make it go away, and it got sore so I quit then I noticed that it was red and sore so I am worried that it is infected?  Pehaps the fluid built up  since they took my lymph glands...crap

Got a clean PET scan, no bone cancer met, I am a nearly 5 year survivor of late stage lung cancer but have never gotten over my overall feeling of ill health, seems to be completely RA related, and have my oncologist's blessings to go ahead to get the RA worked on. PET scan & Bone density test
  I can't decide if I should have a PET scan and/or bone density test done. My oncologist didn't feel it was necessary, but if I wanted them he wouldn't have a problem writing me an order. I know they both have low radiation and are very expensive. I've met most of my deductibles, so cost...crap

Hi..been a while.. May 6th surgery.. sential node neg.. 1 c.m. invasive stage 1.. 1st oncologist
says do chemo because you are borderline.. TC. Pet scan clear.  Go get 2nd opinion ..she does OncotypeDx..comes back score of 8..no chemo, just tamoxifen...yeah!!!! right..but who do I go with..oncotype says chemo probably wouldn't help.. who do I believe ,   trust the test???? odivously Esterogen...crap
