My mother has Parkinson's disease (diagnosed 1997) and recently is experiencing constant and treatment resistant UTI's. What happens is: when the UTI is treated with whatever medication she is given the symptoms disappear but as soon as the medication therapy is over (the usual 10 days) the infection returns...crap
