When I walk distance or with some strain I have a painful lump that appears on my lower left leg...when I push on it sends pain
the every night and my legs sometimes both would give me pain up the sides...seems like from Ankles up.  My left let was always worse and I would stop to rub my leg and find the lump...

Are you having weakness in your left shoulder, left arm or hand? It is possible... the pain that you are having. Taking them short term is okay, as long term use could cause other side...

/hand swelling alone can be due to the above, too.  However, short of being involved in some trauma... on that side but not your left.     Best to go see your family doc or geriatrician.  Good luck!  ...
