Hi, I was diagnosed with finger osteoarthritis in thumb and in middle joints of my left hand... notes in my fingers. It just started to happen and t is on all fingers, ring, pinky, thumb, first.... Is this finger osteoarthritis or tendonitis, or part of the thoracic outlet syndrome...crap

could a implant cause RA
when all this began, it was my thumbs that bothered me. I saw my GP and she thought i had injured myself, sent me to PT and gave me splints. she thought it strange that it was both hands, but one can hurt from doing the work for the other. Then a few months later a lump was found in my breast...crap

Just started taking Plaquenil . No stomach problems yet but what do I expect from this drug?
New to this site and new to RA. Was DXed w/osteoarthritis only at first even though I was positive for 2 out of three tests for RA. Have had osteoarthrithis in my thumbs for about 10 years now. Celebrex was taken for a month. Symptoms worsened and no improvement. New DX is osteo and RA. Have joint pain...crap

Pain inthumb and wrist joints snarling and disfigurement of the feet? My RA says it is OA?
After yet another visit to my Rheumy, he says the  pain and disfigurement in my thumbs and feet are because of Osteoarthritis.The pain is severe at times. He says to see a foot Dr. about surgery.I don't understand why he seems to dismiss the pain and snarling joints like it is not RA so it is not associated with him. He doesn't ignore...crap

Where can I find household products/aids to help me function with my thumb/finger arthritis?
I have a relative that has arthritis of mainly her thumbs but also some in her fingers. She wears Comfort Cool Thumb CMC Restriction Splints which have helped some. However she still has a lot of difficulty doing her normal daily activities such as using scissors, knives, can opener, shovel...crap

How can I reduce swollen fingers (below 2nd joint)
I've been told I have Osteoarthritis in my hands but haven't got much in way of pain.  Problem for me is that 2 fingers on each hand are very swollen from the 2nd joint down (my wedding ring had to be re-sized within one year from P to V - not sure I could get it off now though). And the fingers nearest to the thumb...crap

I'm looking for thumb/finger arthritis products/aids to make my daily life easier and less painful.

She's looking for products/aids to help her with all the things she uses her thumbs/fingers for which we all take for granted...crap
