Does a blockage in the heart cause a drop in Blood Pressure?
Here's an update w/question. I went for my Nuclear stress test since my regular stress test... to the elbow. They subsided after 2 days. Today during Nuclear Stress Test, my BP started out at 102/72. Usual BP is 140/80. As test progessed on the treadmill, BP went top number would gradually go up to 128...crap

About a year and a half ago I had a stent put into my heart in in my LAD artery. I frequently felt
a tightness in my chest.  Whenever I asked the doctors there only answer was more meds.  I did well on my nuclear stress test in Nov of 09.  4 weeks ago I went to hospital with severe chest pain... pain.  How do I know if it is stress related or a stent problem.  Is it common to feel this tightness...crap

My husband when for a stress test after he got off the treadmill his BP dropped down to 50/24.

Question about Stress Testing
My doctor will not put me on a treadmill, etc. He prefers nuclear testing! Am I getting short... to answer the questions that the physician requires. I will do a nuclear test when I don't feel that the patient is capable of cooperation on the treadmill.   A treadmill (or bicycle) stress test...crap
