hi, I was diagnosed with genital herpes after oral sex with my partner 12 years ago.
 I had one sore, red patch on my vulva which was never more than slightly uncomfortable. No scabs, no oozing and no real 'pain'. I tried using Zovirax cream as I was too embarassed to go to the Dr's but it did nothing so I went to my GP.The doctor just looked at my bits(!) no blood test, no swabs taken and sent...crap
