I have a lump that has formed along the top of my foot,
not on the metatarsal bone, but maybe the tendion? Half way between my pinkey toe and my ankle. I applied pressure and rubbed alot one day and it seemed to "crunch" and disapear..only to come back a few weeks later only more painfull and much larger. Please help, whats wrong? colamartinicrap

Getting ready to have a metatarsal amputation of mmy right foot due to extreme pain from Diabetic Neuropathy, I was wondering if any one here on the forum has had this procedure? should 2nd and 3rd metatarsal fractures still hurt when you put weight on them after 3 weeks
I have stress fractures in 2nd and 3rd metatarsals.  It has been 3 weeks.  First week a shoe and last 2 weeks a boot.  I work 8-10 hours a day on my feet so I haven't had much of a chance to rest it but when I try to walk without the boot it is still very painful.  Is this normal?  Pamcrap

Metatarsal Stress Fractures with RA
Over the past two years, I've suffered 8 stress fractures of the metatarsals bones in my feet.  My doctors tell me that some RA sufferers have this problem.  Have anyone of you heard of this before or... would take the pressure off of the metatarsal bones in the forefoot. I have had a lot of muscle wasting in my feet...crap

I am 27 years old and I have been HIV+ for 4 years but very healthy (CD4 900+, Tcells undetectable).
