I mainly suffer from menstrual migraines but I'm lucky enough to get just your every day variety too.  I've been noticing that I get alot of "floaters" before and during attacks and was wondering if that is an aura?  sandycrap

Exactly how much of a role do hormones play in causing migraines?
I suffered from typical menstrual migraines as a teenager and a little more frequent as a young adult.  I have had four children and had no migraines during the pregnancies but after each child and as I get older they have increased to 8-10 headaches a month.  I also had a hysterectomy 2 1/2 years ago...crap

I get menstrual migraines. they are terrible and seem to be getting worse. I'm 42 and have had migraines since I was 16. I just read about bio-indentical hormones (progesterone). Have you heard about it helping? I use imitrex, maxalt but lately, the pain ceases for a while and then just returns. I'm on my 4...crap

I have just recently started having migraines.  My doctor diagnosed me in January with what could be menstrual migraines.  I thought I was having a brain hemorrhage or a brain tumor.  I had never had a headache like that.  My second headache has lasted a week and a half.  It is worse when I worry about it...crap
