Yes, contrast is contrast and radiation is radiation.  Ideally, you'd like to minimize your exposure to the latter but if you need it, you need it.  With IV contrast, we worry more about kidney damage in the 1st several days

I completed my second round of chemotherapy this week. My Gallium scan was totally negative. I did get extensive lung toxicity from my chemotherapy, with that my oncologist said no more. Lung nodule, should we wait?
My husband (CD4 150, VL Non detectable) had a 2.5cm nodule show up on a CT scan in his lungs...'t "look" like it is cancerous to him.
