My liver biopsy ... negative ...
showed basically nothing except Very Low Iron.  (less than 1/4 the usual stainable iron.  But then again, ten years ago they didn't even think that stainable iron should be there at all.  So maybe low is good?  Who really knows!)   Hi all! .  No cirrhosis, no fatty liver, no infection...crap

High iron count - what's it mean?
I have been told twice that I have a "high iron" count and am being referred to a specialist. I can find lots of info on low iron but nothing on high iron. Any ideas where I can look?Thanks! I had my second child about 11 months ago. And since then i have been having bleeding non-stop.
My doctor doesn't seem to be concerned but i'm sick of being on a constant period. Not to mention i'm anemic now from low iron. He just recomended taking iron supplements. But i want to know why and how to stop this 'bloody' nightmare. Gwenie crap

I don't even know where to begin. I have anemia because of low Iron and I was not feeling well for a while tired all the time. My girlfriend was telling me about this Coffee Business she joined. I said okay give me some samples. I made a cup and instanly I was energized. Not that caffiene rush energy just a mellow energy...crap

I do not absorp iron from the foods I eat.Can the iron have a effect on glucose levels and A1C?
I do not absorb iron from the foods I eat and I do not store iron. I have taken iron supplements....  It was not and i had to begin taking iron again as my hemoglobin rapidly fell to 8.  I feel that the  fact that I do not store iron can effect  my glucose and A1C levels, but my physician tells me I am wrong and I am...crap

I have Sjogren's Syndrome and also anemia.
It is NOT iron-deficiency anemia, and I am wondering if Procrit (or some other med) is used to boost red blood cell production.  How low does the hemoglobin and hematocrit have to be to use something like Procrit?   I am very tired and get short of breath and light-headed upon little exertion.I am currently...crap
