I have just had a Medtronic Synchromec II implanted and have aquestion that seems to be puzzleing everyone I talk to about my problem (including myself).  I have been a long time sufferer of back pain... that it had nothing to do with the pump and have to have tests and see a Gastro. can a morphine pump cause polyarthralgia(pain in joints) and can changing to a different drug help?
I had a morphine pump implanted about 5 months ago and I have been experiancing an ever increasing amount of pain in my hips, knees and ankles joints and recently my neck joint has started making... and "polyarthralgia" (pain in multible joints) was one of them.
