CT heart done , should i continue with drugs ..?
I did heart CT scan , results back with '0' calcium deposit. ( my age 46, weight 198 , height 5.9') That is a excelent . BUT my colesterol numbers are bad .   HDL = 29 LDL = 133 Total Colesterol = 207.   Should I start with recomended medication ( Vytorin/Niastatin/Aspirin) . My concern is side effect of drugs...crap

I am a 44 yr old female and have recently undergone a PET scan following diagnosis of melanoma. the scan was clear except for something very small about 4mm on my spleen. I have triple negative, BRCA1 positive, breast cancer.
My mastectomy and PET scan have not indicated a spread.  Several choices have been presented fro chemo - TAC, AC-T, clinical trial with Avastin.  I need to begin asap - any advice is appreciated. Thanks! Anne Annecrap
