My mother is in the mid/late stages of Picks disease and was just diagnosed w/breast cancer. My father/brothers want to treat it, I don't. None of us want her to suffer. How do we decide what to do?
We are still in the process of getting all the details on the cancer itself. The ultrasound showed that it could be into the nodes (a nodular something showed up). I believe they are going to do a cat scan to try and determine if it has spread to other areas of her body. I know that if it is too far progressed - it would make the decision...crap
