Expanders and Litis Flap (help)
I have 2 expanders and 1 litis flap.1st fill last week,the flap side has my muscles going crazy with pain in my neck,shoulder and headaches.I dont know if I should keep filling up? Whats to come of this? The flap side has more tissue and is bigger than the side with only the expander, will it even out...crap

How long will it take for them to shrink to normal size? Thanks
They seem huge!  My PS used the star flap - skin flaps on my breast to make a 3D nipple.  I'm currently wearing the silicone shields over the nipples. This is the last surgery in my reconstruction after a bi-lateral mastectomy (Hooray!).  I will have areola tattoo in November. BKBcrap

Effectiveness of Post tram flap failure chemotherapy
1 month ago my mother-in-law had TRAM flap after mascatomy and LD failure. 2 weeks back her FLAP was totally removed except for just a very small area. Now doctor says that it will take weeks for the natural growth of the granulation tissue. her biopsy showed thar12 out of 12 lymph nodes positive for carcinomia...crap

reconstructive surgery
Has anyone out there had the "tram flap procedure"?  I will be having my reconstructive surgery in January.  My surgeon is suggesting either the flap or the tram flap procedure.  I have not decided yet, but I'm leaning for the tram flap procedure.  Any thoughts?  I would like to know...crap

Not sure is the silicone or saline better? The frist time i had the free tramp flap done this is something new for me, and does the tissue expander hurt , because when he told me that i had to vist with him ever week I was like wow thats alot, and wow is there an end to this night mare again? Reconstruction? Back to work?
I know a few of you have had reconstruction and I was just wondering after getting surgery ( Free Tram Flap) or after getting (expanders) in when did you go back to work? I do know heal time is longer with (FTF), but just wondering the differance. I'm not sure of the procedure I want, have reasons for both...crap

Needs immediate advice for covering a open wound
My mother -in-law had mastectomy. It went fine but both of her LD and TRAM flap failed. Now its an open wound. She has her lymh nodes positive so she was advsed to have radiology, but since her wound is open, she cannot have radiotherapy. Her oncologist has taken the risk of continuing her chemotherapy...crap
