The Difference Between Gastritis and GERD
By definition gastritis is inflammation of the stomach lining (gastro = stomach, it is = inflammation). For years, I thought gastritis and reflux (GERD) were pretty much the same thing. Recently though, I've been reading more about gastritis and how it is similar but different than reflux...crap

How bad can Erosive Gastritis get and cant it be healed permanently?
I was diagnosed with Erosive Gastritis August 09.I somehow kept worsening and 1 year later i have back pain & when i drink a cold glass of water i feel it pouring down my back, I feel kinda dizzy, shaky and eating a slice of bred feels like sand paper in my upper stomach. Any suggestions? Thanx -Dancrap

Meds that don't cause rebound headaches
I have osteoarthritis, FMS and chronic gastritis.  I cannot have aspirin, ANSAIDs, or anti-inflammatories.  Acetaminophen is the only pain med that I can have that doesn't cause gastric flareup.  (Vicodin works as a general OA/FMS pain reliever but I'm in Florida and doctors are paranoid about writing scripts for it...crap

On Pristiq for 10 weeks; finally helped major depression\Does Sucralmate interfere with Pristiq???
I was doing very well on meds finally after 9 weeks on Pristiq; started Sucrolmate for gastritis to coat the stomach lining; now do not wake up without feeling lonely again; the first sign of depression for me. No indications on info that it interferes but my gp said to be careful with it as for timing...crap
