First Stage of RA?
Hello, I am a 45 year old Male. Last year my finger joints would swell up (not my knuckles) when I would drink a couple glasses of red wine or so. Then l started to notice discomfort in my fingers..., that I was referred to, says that I have RA but because I don't have any joint destruction I don't need to see him...crap

Is it osteo or RA...or neither?
Im 51 female.  My fingers joints have been a little sore for years; recently my toes chimed in (all both sides) and then this sudden flare up of both knees which the pain was horrendous. Ortho said its osteo and gave me synvisc injections which helped about 90%.  The thing is, my sed rate...crap

This swelling is more emotionally painful than the pain of the arthritis itself, as it is so noticible and deforming! Is it possible to have RA with a negative RF and ANA test?
I have joint pain in my fingers, wrists, knees, elbows,and ankles on both sides for 3 months. The pain is worse at rest and at night and I also have fatigue, shortness of breath, nausau and weakness in my arms and legs. Does anyone have any ideas? acm363crap

Difficulty getting diagnosed
I have been having joint pain (fingers, hands, wrists, elbows, hips, knees, ankles and toes) as well as low grade fevers, severe fatigue, concentration and memory problems since June 2008.  These symptoms have been lasting anywhere from 7-14 days at a time about every two months with a strange...crap

I have tendonitis doing everyday activities. What can/should I do?
I was diagnosed with tendonitis in my fingers in 1999. In 2001 I had such a swollen wrist, the doctor thought at first, that I broke it. But I did not. I felt a bad sharp pain when I lifted something and twisted my wrist at the same time. Again the diagnosis was tendonitis. Now I have pain in my fingers daily...crap
