I had a chnodrosarcoma removed 6 years ago.  They actually removed 4 inches of my fibula.  I am 57 years old barely holding onto -2.5 T scores.  Is Forteo out of the question? HBlitzcrap

Ankle fusion coupled with partial fibula removal in June 2008 -- still in constant pain
I had a right ankle fusion, coupled with one-quarter of my fibula removed in June 2008.  I am STILL in daily pain.  I think I will go mad if one more person asks "isn't that healed yet?!?" I now limp... about the stress above and below the fusion is the source of the pain and I guess messing part of the fibula...crap

I broke both my tibula and fibula right under my right calf and have chronic swelling, leg spasms.
I was in a car accident 2 yrs.ago. I broke both my tibula and fibula right under my calf. I have a rod and pins in my knee and ankle. I'm left with a 7% impairment. My ankle and knee swell with the weather, my knee stiffens with just a few steps and I still have pain in my leg that feels like the rod...crap

Hi,   I fractured my fibula last June and it has since "healed".  The osteo I went to is regarded as one of the best in my state, and he debated about whether to do surgery or progressive casts--because of my age (28) he decided not to do surgery.    NOW, over a year later, I have sprained this ankle twice...crap
