I have recently been diagnosed with cyclothymia. Unfortunately, most people are not familiar with the term and I don't always want or have the time to explain.   So my question is this: is there a short answer I can give? There are tons of articles and books and information available for bipolar disorder. My husband is an alcoholic and was diagnosed as Bipolar about 2 months ago.  In reading materials, I have discovered he is Cyclothymic.  The doc has him taking Depakote daily. He owns & operates his own business and has been successful for the past 5 years.  Now??  He is confused, unable to make business decisions, can...crap
