My foot Puncture wound looked and acted infected, yet the tissue /blood cultures were negative... line and Vancomycin.  I did the IV drip by myself 2x daily for 10 days. Could the wound have been infected despite the negative culture?  I did have high monocytes, Eos, Baso%, etc.  The wound healed...crap
