my mother has been in CCU (criticalcare) for 2 months. initially to reapair a leak - stent she had alot of fluid on her chest - now for some reason she has dried - hard blood in her lungs and it shes having trouble breathing - even on the machine. I think they tried to drain some fluid from the back side - lungs...crap

My brother was just diagnosed. He is in the criticalcare unit of our local hospital with PCP Pneumonia. His T-Cell count is 38. He is on 100% oxygen and his blood oxygen levels will not level off. The Dr. seems to think he will have an extended stay. I am scared that he won't come out...crap
