Infection in reconstructed breast with implant.
It has been four months since my last surgery, and I have developed an infection in my implant... to have the implant removed and left out for two to four weeks.  I consulted with another plastic surgeon... me that her surgeon removed her implant, rinsed out the pocked with a strong anti-biotic fluid, then replaced...crap

How many penile implants were performed during 2009?
As a patient who has had penile implant surgery, I know of the difficult adjustment ALL men... how many implants were performed both in the U.S. and elsewhere during 2009 and the projections into the future. Past attempts to contact the major suppliers of the implants, such as American Medical Systems...crap

after my mastectomy last year under my armpit is still swollen. Is this normal?
I had a mastectomy in April of 2007 with immediate reconstructive surgery.  I had my implant put in October of 2008.  My left side under my armpit, where your bra would be is still swollen as if I have water in there.  Will this ever go away? Denisecrap

I made it through surgery
Well I made through surgery ok and I now have the morphine pump implant.  So far it is working great.  I did have some minor complications from surgery but it all worked out in the end.  For all those who prayed for me thanks. I am still a little weak so I will write more later.  Talk at you soon bluesmancrap

Can face filler be injected over/above cheek implants?
I had surgery for cheek implants in Dec 2001. Great results, but after 7 years I have experienced more facial fat loss leaving depressions above the implants and folds around the mouth. Is it safe to have a face filler (Sculptra, to be specific) injected above and around the implants?I remember...crap

HELP! BODY ATE TOE IMPLANT! ???
Hi, I had foot surgery- greater toe implant. After 2 yrs it really bothered me & bone was resorbing. Doc wanted to take whole pin & screw out. When she did SHE WAS BLOWN AWAY! She said my body had somehow "ATE" the pin & screw! Said it looked liked shrapnel. There is still some "gunpowery-like substance...crap

I am having oral surgery tomorrow at 8:15 am to have  an implant removed.  Don't know what to expect.  Can't be bad after all I had it put in didn't I?   Just like a little prayer chain going.   Thanks   Violetlady Violetladycrap

My mound is not as large as the other breast I do not want implants
I had a tram flap surgery in August 2009.  My mound is not large enough, it not symetric to the other.  I do not wish to have implants because I am apt to have scar tissue.  I already have scar tissue and fluid build up in my tummy area, from the surgery.  Is there any other methods...crap

im getting ready to go to a surgeon, i need to have some of my discs removed and a rod put in
according to my doctor, i need several discs removed and a rod implanted, im wondering also if anyone on this website has had this surgery and if so, how is YOUR quality of life now that you have had this surgery, im..., i have had several injections around my spine, and it seems like the more i get , the less they work, hence the surgery...crap

What implants are made of
When I told you about getting facial implants you asked me what they were made of. These are silicone implants. They are firm to the touch (thought not rock hard.) In other words they are not the soft silicone that they use for breast implants. Hope this has answered your question. I have a post...crap
