i have a raised lymph node in my left breast cud this be cancer
i have had a right mastecomy in may and undergoing chemo trial at the moment i have had ct scan and they detected this raised lymph node in my left breast they are going to make a decision either i have biopsy or see a surgeon but i need to now if it cud be the cancer returned. Denisecrap

Chemotherapy sucks; painful lymphnode despite chemotherapy
is that this is NOT lymphoma. I am basing this hunch on your negative gallium scan. It's unusual for the lymph node to be cancerous in the setting of a negative gallium scan. It sounds like you had a nasty infection in that area... I've completed two rounds of chemotherapy. My gallium scan is negative. Two weeks ago they started...crap

How do you start to build yourself back after a year of chemo..When will I feel alive again??

My mother is in the mid/late stages of Picks disease and was just diagnosed w/breast cancer. My father/brothers want to treat it, I don't. None of us want her to suffer. How do we decide what to do?
We are still in the process of getting all the details on the cancer itself. The ultrasound showed that it could be into the nodes (a nodular something showed up). I believe they are going to do a cat scan to try and determine if it has spread to other areas of her body. I know that if it is too far progressed - it would make the decision...crap

Kidney cancer?
may indeed just have an abscess, make sure it is followed up with repeat scans. If there's anything abnormal, remember the cancer... The CT scan of a friend with AIDS shows "something in one of the kidneys". They say perhaps an abscess, perhaps a malignancy; a needle biopsy "found no malignancy but was unable to rule out cancer...crap
