I had the CT of the neck for the thyroid and an ultrasound and it was barely visible on either so I think for now nothing will be done. The bronchoscopy went very well(I got what I call a really good... and the spirit. I appreciate that your wrote back and gave me an update about your bronchoscopy. I wish you well...crap

pnuemonia of unknown origin
Is there a type of pnuemonia that effects hiv+ individuals that is not typically common. Bronchoscopy was neg for pcp and mycoplasma abg's are good no sob ect but running fever that runs from 100... to find the cause. It is more likely that another bronchoscopy would be attempted. Lung Infections from defective bronchoscopes
Has anyone heard of getting a bacteria infection after undergoing a bronchoscopy in a hospital. Any information would be helpful. It seems like it is caused by a defective bronchoscope.

Is my KS related to my Thyroid Lesion?
I have KS and am having a bronchoscopy this week to see if the nodules in my lungs found on CT are KS. The CT report also noted a lesion on the thyroid. I didn't think KS in general spreads... your bronchoscopy goes well....crap

Lung Infections caused by defective bronchoscopes
Has anyone heard of getting a bacteria infection after undergoing a bronchoscopy in a hospital. Any information would be helpful. It seems like it is caused by a defective bronchoscope.

Could my lungs be inflammed from chemotherapy? from Ziagen? I have lymphoma
I have non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. I had a Bronchoscopy and the lavage came back negative for bacteria and for PCP. This is good news. They found my lung tissue to be very inflammed, and my doctor believes... to hear that you had a bronchoscopy and that you still don't have a definitive answer as to what's causing...crap

dry cough follow up
on me which were normal. He mentioned a bronchoscopy but, because the CT scan was clear, my ID doctor didn't feel I needed to have that procedure. Would there be something the bronchoscopy would show that the CT scan would miss... that it seems unlikely that a bronchoscopy would be worth the cost/safety concerns if the CT is normal...crap

Is swine flu vaccine safe for asthma sufferers whose asthma is due to an overactive immune system?   Following a bronchoscopy I have been told that my asthma is caused by an overactive immune system.  I take my prescribed inhalers and seldom get colds or chest infections.  Is it safe or necessary...crap

dispnea in a patient with AIDS
and radiologic to it in one week. Without doing bronchoscopy yet, what are my diagnostic options... then bronchoscopy is the best option. Gallium scan may be positive but it is not a specific test.Hope this helps.-JC...crap
