confusing test results
Ihad a test done overseas and the results came back reactive, another test was run and the results came back negative for HIV2, IFA or IFT (what are those tests) except for there was a unidentified antibody in the P55 strand of the HIV1 Western blot test. I then had two more test run which I think were ELISA...crap

Post Pep Testing @ 6 weeks, 12 weeks, 24 weeks!
Hi Doc,I am fully aware that post PEP HIV antibody testing should be carried out at 6,12 and 24 weeks from exposure for a conclusive result.Do you know of any cases where earlier negative tests have gone on to be positive at later stage? If you are coinfected with hepatitus and take a 3 month test, is the test accurate? I heard that it can affect hiv antibody results.
