I have recently switched to Atripla and have coincidentally developed sever ankle joint pain 1 month into the therapy. There was no other apparent cause or injury for the paint to develop. It seems like there is no hope?!?
Already had hip joint replacement at age 21.  Now at 41 progressed into masses of medications trying to save the other joints- all the meds (enbrell, methotrexate) attacked my lungs eventually.  So now have nothing.  Changed diet here and there - cut dairy, etc. nothing.  Having complete flare - all the joints...crap

Extreme joint pain, limited arm movement, and swelling in right hand and right ankle??
My 90-year old grandfather has been suffering from extreme joint pain, limitation of arm movement, limited motor finction in the right hand, and swelling in his right hand and right ankle for about the last 2-months.  his DR prescribed PT treatments and they are not helping...what could it be...crap

How long does it take for Vit.D to take effect? I have inflammation in joints (thought it was RA and still could be). Taking 1000mg/day. Is that enough?
The Rheumatologist started me on methotrexate but I didn't want to take that. My other doctor said I could have the inflammation in my joints because of deficiency in vitamin D and low iron. Am I taking the right dosage and how long does it take to start working, if this is truly the reason for my inflammation? Kimcrap
