I have heard of women getting a rash during pregnancy....and it goes away once the baby is born.
The cases of it I've seen (from friends) the rash developed (or became noticable) during the third tri.

If you took the tests after your expected start date and they came out negative then I would say that is an accurate result.
Do you think that possibly you ovulated late?
Or perhaps that really was your period which means
have you had a bleed since your baby was born? Well I breast fed for two weeks then stopped, Dont really know if I ovulated or not. it really depends on if you are breast feeding and if you have ovulated.
It is rather low but at four weeks anything above five is considered to be pregnant.
Did they do a repeat beta draw to check for doubling time?

I would wait and see if you get your period on time and if not take another HPT . If you are still unsure call your OB and make an appointment for a blood test!

if your period comes then most likely you are not pregnant.
If you don't want to wait first response can be taken with accurate results as far as 5 days before your period is due

Purple Hot spot?
for about a month my breasts have been very achy(abnormally so) we thought i might be pregnant again, until two weeks ago i noticed the swelling was getting worse, (swelling sometimes goes away but always comes back), and on my left breast which aches more, i have a burning ache, and a purple spot...crap
awhile back my right breast has started to hurt and wont seem to stop
