I have the feeling of open wounds rubbing together when I run, and now when I walk my normal pace.
It started in 2006 I was training for the Chicago marathon.  I got in the shower after a run.  When the hot water hit me I became paralyzed on my left side for at least 5 minutes.  That happened a few... together and not being able to move started than.  I did do the marathon.  I went on a weeks course of steriods...crap

As a Type II diabetic, how many carbs do I need to train for a marathon?
I'm a 67- year old marathon runner who runs about 40 miles per week and have been diagnosed with Type II diabetes. My dietician said I should consume no more than 60-70 carbs per meal with snacks in between of no more than 15 carbs. That does not seem to be enough carbs to provide the energy I need to train and runcrap

Question about a 52 year old Male Endurance Athlete with very low blood pressure
Dear Dr.   I have a question concerning one of my athletes.  He's a 52 year old male, very actively training for marathons and triathlons.  In my cycling classes when we perform some LT - VO2max intervals mixed into a relatively tough 1hr session, his HR Avg  may only be ~110-118, a Max HR of 140...crap
