Go see your family doctor!  S/he is trained to evaluate the cause of your pain and treat it.  You can probably safely ignore occasional pain but if it persists and affects your sleep, it's time to get checked out.  Good luck!

Any injury?  Repetitive motion(s)?  Any new drugs?  Fevers, sweats or chills?  Unexplained weight loss?  How much alcohol do you consume?  Any jaundice (yellowish tinge to skin)?  How about cola colored urine or clay colored
I have pain under my left rib cage that radiates down to my left frontal side of my abdomal area... have complained about the left rib pain and many had found out they had a cyst on their spleen by an ultrasound...
pain in the right upper quadrant (under the ribs), even stuff that isn't typically associated w/pain... or ligament being strained? I feel the same pain, its more like the lower part of the rib.  Please...
on my ribs, about 2 to 3 inches down from the breast,its not on the breast at all... its small and circular...
My advice is to have it checked by a doctor, redbeast, if only for peace of mind. Constantly ruminating over things like this can lead to an anxiety disorder or depression which is not something you would want.  Ian
