Does Actenel or Fosamax negatively effect cholesterol?
I have been on Fossamax since 2000. Since 2001 my HDL has been in a decline and from 2004 my LDL has been rising. Total cholesterol has been normal though. Have there been any issue with rising LDL and a lowering of HDL when on Fosamax or Actenel?I walk on a treadmill at least 4x's a week for 40 minutes...crap

Fosteum - Does it Work? Is it Safe?
When I was first diagnosed w/ osteo, I tried Fossamax. After 2 doses, I was sick for a month. Terrible upper GI problems. I stopped taking it and my dr. recommended Boniva. I fought him on that since I got sick from the once weekly form of the meds. I went off to see a endocrinologist...no underlying issues...crap
