I just today realized that I had not yet blogged this year. Well, this is it, the first post of 2010.
Five weeks of doing Weight Watchers are already over. And looking at my blog in the past few weeks, I am sad to see I have not posted anything but those weekly weigh-in posts. I am afraid this is just another one of them. Like in the past weeks, my thesis has just been stressing me out so much. I am almost done though and will hand it in early next week, so expect things to go back to normal soon. As far as eating goes, last week was far from perfect. I went over points, what with New Year's Eve and my seemingly insatiable appetite for chocolate, but considering all the stress I've been under, I still think I did fairly well. Christmas, New Year's and a looming deadline (a very important one too, this thesis makes up a third of my degree grade), and I am still losing weight. No gym though, but I will go there again next week, once the thesis is completely done with and handed in.
All that gave me a small loss of 0.2kg (0.4lbs) last week!
Not much, but I am really happy about losing any weight at all. This week has been going much better so far. I was done with the writing part of my thesis on Wednesday, and since then I have not had any problems staying on points, not to mention my weekly extra budget has been replenished (and barely used so far). I do believe last week's chocolate mania was largely due to stress and anxiety, since then I have not been craving it much at all (though it certainly helps that I simply have less chocolate left in the fridge).
