Happy WIAW everyone! Is it just me, or do Wednesday's come around faster and faster each week? Crazy!

Here's a peek into what I eat yesterday. As I mentioned yesterday , everything is going good on the paleo front, although when it is my birthday in a few weeks time I definitely intend on eating cake and drinking pink champagne at every meal!

For breakfast over the past few days I've been trying something new which Iestyn introduced me to. I basically ground up a few nuts, chop up dates and raisins, and top with a banana and Almond milk: simples!

Yesterday's mix included hazelnuts, flaked almonds, raw coconut chips, dates and raisins. I had a bigger nut variation as the weekend, but my nut stocks have dwindled fast!

Morning snack was a nectarine...

and a date and nut ball.

Lunch was a king prawn salad. I wish the avocado's I have bought were ripe as avocado would of made this salad.

Plus I had a slice of  Blueberry, Almond and Orange Tea Loaf.

I decided to have a rest day yesterday as I was feeling pretty tired, and my head wasn't really in it as I didn't have a specific work out planned, so I knew all I would do would ffaff if I did go! I need to try and go every day the rest of the week to help work towards my goal!

For dinner I made chili and garlic turkey burgers, which I served on top of huge mushrooms in lieu of actual rolls, and I had bacon, red onion, yellow pepper and courgette on the side.

As I've mentioned the end goal for this paleo challenge, is my birthday on October the 6th (what happens then, I'm still trying to figure out...!). On my birthday Iestyn and I are heading to Manchester for the weekend as we have tickets to watch Radiohead on the Saturday evening. Anyone got any recommendations on places to eat or things to see in Manchester? Or even a place to stay (yup we really need to start putting some thought into our trip!) We've been quite a few times before, but are open to recommendations!
