I also had a slice of herb-y chicken to help keep me going.
Morning snack was a plum. I wish I'd bought two as I was ravenous by lunchtime! I generally have an apple which keeps me going quite well, but obviously the calorie and fiber content of a plum vs. an apple is quite different. I'll now know for future reference!
Lunch was a huge salad with chicken, avocado, cucumber, tomato, spinach and mixed seeds. I've had this every day this week, and I love how fresh all the flavours are.
Quickly followed by an orange.
And then a pink lady, which I forgot to photograph, but you all know what that looks like!
Before heading off to Bootcamp I had four small dates which were practically drowned in warm almond butter: these definitely gave me an energy kick!
The Bootcamp class was great, but turned into more of a circuits class as the original instructor was off ill, so we had a replacement. I haven't been to any classes in quite a few months and have really missed them, there's nothing quite like not knowing what you are going to be doing next, or how long you'll be doing an exercise for that really makes you dig down and give it all you have! I really must remember to take my eye make up off before going to the gym, I looked like a Panda by the time I got home!
Post gym dinner was pork chops, topped with an apple and onion sauce, served with mushrooms and red peppers, plus some veg my mam had left over, and I was more than happy to finish them off!
So all in all a good day I'd say! Then again, any day which starts off with cake can't be bad right? Whats the nicest thing you ate today? I've only had breakfast so far today, but I am loving the Clipper Orange and Coconut tea that I am currently drinking!
