Wheat and Weight Loss

Posted by Nirmala N.

Many times, excess weight usually isn't the result of unsightly fat deposits, but rather, the result of water retention and bloating that usually arises when your body is sensitive to foods that are actually pretty omnipresent in our diets. Luckily, it's the kind of weight that also can get blasted the most quickly, especially in the beginning of a new diet, which usually means sacrificing some common edibles. For starters, cutting out wheat is a must. This doesn't necessarily mean that you have to do this permanently or that eating bread, pasta, and cereal is a total no-no. Simply, wheat is actually one of the top seven allergens, and tons of people, most of whom probably don't even know, are sensitive to it. In fact, several researchers and dietitians suggest that for weight loss and health, cutting out wheat or anything with glutens is probably not a bad idea, even if it's just temporary.
