I do not want to gain weight, and I go and excercise at least 3 times a week. I eat pretty healthy, but I want to make sure I do whatever I can to eat healthy. I am just wondering what should i stay away from. I know burgers, fries, chips and all junk foods are not good for you. But is there anything else?
Yes, keep away from deep fried foods. Try to stay away from processed foods as much as possible. Eat more whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds, olive oil, yogurt, nuts and seeds, lean meat (poultry) and fish (if you like sea food) and above all fresh fruits and vegetables. Reduce your intake of red meat to few times a month.
Also, if you drink sodas, try to cut down and drink water or natural juices instead. But keep in mind: if you eat healthy, indulging yourself with a burger, fries or chips from time to time is OK! :)
