What is Self-Awareness and How Does It Fit In When You Need Help Losing Weight?

It seems that people in California are smoking a lot less than people in other states. The figures show that for Californians, the percentage of smokers is about 13%, where the rest of the country is about 20%.

The difference seems to be that in California, a great deal of effort is put into raising public awareness of the issues surrounding smoking. This has a very powerful effect.

Raising awareness—might that help you with weight loss as well?

We think so. Awareness—that is, staying self-aware—is one of the essential things that women who are successful weight-losers use. They stop ignoring their own feelings, thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors. And they often tell us that simply by becoming more aware, they become more adept at losing weight.
