Weight Loss Reality and Accountability – Succeeding Through Adversity

Although this blog is near and dear to my heart, I have not been online for a while due to an abundance of personal issues that have left me reeling. From the death of a very close personal friend, to my 3-year-old granddaughter’s leukemia diagnosis, to my employment ending, to severe financial difficulties, to having an abdominal wall abscess without insurance that is felt to be MRSA, I have found life to be a little challenging lately.
Throughout these events, and the myriad of feelings that surround them, I allowed my emotions to dictate my eating choices and I have gained approximately 20 pounds in the past 3-4 months.
