Finally!!! For two weeks in a row, I have had a significant weight loss! I am really feeling like things are beginning to move in the right direction (down the scale), and I couldn’t be more encouraged. This week I lost3.7 pounds!!! Which means I have now lost 7.2 pounds, overall.
What have I been doing differently? Absolutely nothing. I’ve been eating the same amount (within my points), eating the same types of foods, and drinking the same amount of water. In fact, last week I didn’t work out at all because of my cold/flu.
(I made up for the missed workouts last night with Jimmy, let me tell you. I’m going to write a separate post about it, but it was quite a “last chance workout”).
So maybe my body is just finally catching up to all of the activity. I am still really interested in seeing what the doctor has to say once we do the metabolism tests.
One other great thing about losing this weight today? Now I only have 32 points per day, which is so nice. I was really having a hard time having so many points to eat, so it’s nice to actually have less. (I’m weird, I know).
At the WW meeting, they discussed how to deal with Red Light foods. It was a decent topic, and had some good reminders, but I guess that since I’ve already identified my “red light” foods (those that cause you to go over the edge or get out of control), I try to avoid them as much as possible.
Michelle, the regular leader, wasn’t at the meeting because she was at the P!nk concert, so it didn’t have the same sort of vibe that it usually does. I think she must’ve told the group that she wasn’t going to be there, because there were only about 10 people at the meeting, and normally there are 25 or more.
