Weekly Weigh-In: 3.4 lbs Lost

Posted Jul 13 2009 10:03pm

Weekly Weigh-in 3.4 lbs lost Week two of being under 300 lbs. Another week and another few pounds lost. This time I lost 3.4 lbs, much less than the 10+ lbs from last week, but it’s right around where I want to be on a weekly basis. I think at this point I can consistently lose 2 to 3 lbs a week with no sweat. Well, I need to sweat but you know what I mean.

Small weekly loses are better for me in the long run than huge loses. My total lost so far is at 59.6 lbs. That’s 60 lbs in my book. 60 mutha freaking pounds. Back in the day losing 60 lbs was a major thing for me, or anyone I knew for that matter. But here I am about halfway to my goal and 60 lbs doesn’t seem like anything to me. How times change…

This week was rough because I kept thinking about gaining all the wait back. I even had dreams about it. I had a decent week of workouts and my eating was on point, but for some reason I kept thinking that my body was going to turn against me and show this ridiculous gain of weight come Monday morning. When the time came I was nervous, but the scale read 288.4 lbs. I was extremely relieved. Now I can move on and keep doing my thing. I guess once I hit the 270s (which is my goal by end of July), I can relax and be comfortable knowing that what I am doing isn’t going to backfire on me.

I had a killer workout on Sunday thanks to my man Frank Cruz. I hadn’t worked out with another guy in so long, it felt good and brought back some good memories. I had to take it a little easy on him with the chest workout since my pec is a little busted up, but he saw the strength! He’s not too bad himself. The guy lost a ton of weight over the last few months and knows what he’s doing. We had a great HIIT session on the treadmill too. My handy dandy GymBoss came in handy for the intervals and precised timing.

He even fed me some grilled chicken, salad and mango! Super healthy and delicious meal post workout. Speaking of eating, I’m still not feeling too hungry most of the day but I manage to eat nutritiously. I make sure to eat a lot of fruit, veggies, and protein. I eat fat too, but I don’t over do that. We need fat people…we really do.

Here’s the chart, look at the downward trend. Me likey.
