Weekend Quote: You are NOT a Fool

Grrrr. I had a whole intro written for this post and then I lost it — just like *that* — my stupid browser froze and now I’m mad at WordPress for not autosaving fast enough when really it’s my own darn fault.

I don’t know if it’s only me, but I can’t rewrite something I’ve already written — it never feels the same.

Anyway, I won’t bore you with my whiny baby grumblings.

Yesterday was Halloween and I had a BLAST! I’m not sure when it happened but the 8-year-old is now a trick-or-treating master. He was jetting house to house so fast with his friends that I could barely keep up! Here’s the blip on my Fitbit stats…

Side note: I had and reviewed the Fitbit One — click here to check it out — but have since lost it. This week I picked up a Flex and will be reviewing that one as well.

I walked more, wandering around my neighborhood than I did all day sitting at my desk. It just goes to show you don’t have to go crazy to increase your activity. Just a little #WYCWYC can go a long way.

Meanwhile in the food department I have to admit my little experiment worked . I really didn’t want any candy! It just didn’t sound appetizing anymore. However, my jack-o-lantern pizza did…

… and I probably ate way more than I should have but whatever. It was yummy and fun! Plus, there’s no use in crying over consumed pizza! Which brings me to this quote I saw on Tumblr.

Only a fool trips on what’s behind him. — Unknown

I don’t know who said it or if it’s just an old saying but I think it’s pretty powerful.

Think about it: If you enjoyed more than your fair share of Halloween candy (or whatever) don’t let it trip you up today. Why let your past affect your future? Move on.

Long-winded intro or not, that’s all I wanted to say today.

Have a great weekend!
