Week 1 Results....

'Morning, all! Its been one week since I started my latest weight loss endeavor. Let's see how I did, shall we?

Total loss for week 1: 4.5 pounds!

Not too shabby, eh?I feel good, too. I went to the gym 3 times this past week, and followed my plan pretty well.

Things I did well:
  • Went to the gym and really broke a sweat
  • Started weight training at the gym
  • Cut back on my portions
  • Cut out unnecessary snacking
  • Didn't "clean" the kids' plates after they finished their meals

Things I can do better:
  • Drink more water
  • Watch my portions after going to the gym (I feel like I ate more than I should)
  • Start measuring my portions

All in all, a good start! This week's going to be a tough one - I have my daughter's 3rd birthday and Mother's Day at my parent's house to deal with. Hopefully, the newness of the plan will keep me in line!
