Wednesday Workout Update

Three miles ran, woohoo!

As part of Lori's Heart Healthy Weekend , I pledged to run a 5K last Saturday.  I had intended to do the GLOW 5K fun run with Amy and Julia, but I ended up going out of town, so I ran 3 miles early Saturday morning.  After our nice warm weather earlier in the week (I got to wear short sleeves to run on T/Th - no jacket, no mittens...it was a nice change), we were back to cold temps.  Oh well, it IS still February, after all - I shouldn't complain.  The run was good, the company was good, and it's always fun to start the day out doing a pre-dawn run with friends

It was Amy's birthday, so we celebrated at Blue Baker She ran three miles that morning and another three that evening...without planning it, Amy ended up doing 3 and 3 for her 33rd birthday!
I've been out of town since Saturday evening, so I haven't been able to get much exercise in except for walking.  I have a 5K this Sunday (the Armadillo Dash) and I'm trying to not stress over the fact that I've missed so much running this week (and the week before last due to wintery weather).  Hopefully I'll get through that race without embarrassing myself.  Eek!
