HEALTHY WEIGHT LOSS - PT 7
Let me begin by apologizing for not posting for about a week. I've been under a lot of stress moving my family into a new home, and with all the packing and setting up of our new home, I haven't had any time to write for my blog readers. Beginning next week I should be able to get back on track with this series on weight loss.
Today I'd like to continue this series on successful healthy weight loss.I'll be sharing practical things you can doto lose weight and to maintain a healthy weight for your height and body shape.
By way of review, here are the other three keys that we've covered so far.
Key #1 - Stop overeating and practice systematic undereating.
Key #2 - Eat for nutrition, for energy, for life. Listen, seek, research, learn, study, and understand that there are keys of knowledge that will help you unlock the secrets to a long, healthy life and successful weight loss and weight management. These keys to good nutrition and tips to healthy eating will open a whole new world of health, life, and vitality to you. I believe you were created by God and destined to a life of health and prosperity.
Key #3 - EAT ONLY HEALTHY ORGANIC NATURAL WHOLE FOODS
Key #4 - EXERCISE DAILY
Key #5 - ELIMINATE ALL ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, AND WHITE SUGAR
Key # 6 - ADD ORGANIC VIRGIN COCONUT OIL TO YOUR DIET
Key # 7 - DRINK NATURAL SPRING WATER (HALF YOUR BODY WEIGHT IN OUNCES) EVERY DAY, AND START YOUR DAY WITH A LARGE GLASS OF WATER WITH SOME LEMON AND SOME ORGANIC APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
Starting your day with a large glass of natural spring water with some lemon squeezed in and some organic apple cider vinegar will help kick start your body's natural metabolism and cleansing. DO NOT DRINK TAP WATER! Tap water is loaded with all kinds of toxic chemicals that will harm your body. If you are overweight, you need to drink plenty of good natural spring water throughout the day to help your body flush out toxins and cleanse itself. Apple cider vinegar has been shown to be effective in helping people lose weight. I recommend putting one tablespoon of Bragg's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar into a glass of water with some lemon and if needed, a teaspoon of natural unheated raw honey.
If you really want to go all the way, you will also want to add a shake of cayenne pepper into your glass of water because it will help increase your metabolism and make you burn fat quicker. As you can imagine, drinking a large glass of water, cayenne pepper, organic apple cider vinegar, a big squeeze of lemon, and possibly some raw honey, is not going to be easy to do because of the taste. However, if you get into the habit of doing this every morning, it will become a regular part of your morning routine and you won't mind doing it.
One other idea is to make yourself a morning smoothie with some fresh or frozen organic fruit and berries, add some live whole food like The Feast (by Uri International), and then put in your lemon, apple cider vinegar, honey, and cayenne pepper, along with a banana to thicken it. This, in fact, is what I do every morning myself. This has been my daily morning routine for a year now, and I love making this smoothie every morning. Of course, I also add a few other things such as some Himalayan Crystal Salt, some freshly ground up flax seed, some fiber, and some coconut oil. It tastes great, is very filling, gives me plenty of energy, keeps me going until around 12 or 1 pm, is very healthy for me, and helps cleanse my body of toxins and set my metabolism to burn fat efficiently.
And always remember, the secret to losing weight and keeping it off, is to make nutritious and healthy LIFESTYLE CHANGES that become positive healthy habits in your daily routine. Systematic undereating and resisting the temptation to overeat is the first step to change.
