Upping Your Dieting and Weight Loss Motivation

Can you think of how to apply the following strategies to help you with your dieting and weight-loss motivation?

  • alter you environment to avoid or reduce distractions so you can stick to dieting and losing the weight
  • give yourself rewards for sticking to it and/or punishments for not sticking to it
  • make what your doing more interesting, more enjoyable, more relevant
  • give yourself reminders of the reasons for doing what you're doing--the goals you're after and what you want to learn along the way 
See if you can think of two ways to use each of these strategies to enhance your dieting and weight-loss motivation.
