Today:

This morning I had my brain testing.  Yeah.  Let's just say I don't so much see a future in stacking blocks and remembering word pairs.  I'm a mess when it comes to those sort of tasks.  The doc says I have "definite strengths, definite!"  And, weaknesses, yes.  I laughed, because, I Know This.  It will be interesting to see the results of all of the testing.  I cannot build you a stack of rings by moving one at a time on pegs if my life depended on it.

As for the behavioral component, it was a 172 question True or False test.  I had to re-read most of the questions, as some of them were like:  "Have you been on the cover of thirty magazines in the last year?"  Wha?  Obviously this was broken down into several personality disorders.  When I came home, I took an impromptu online test (nearly the same questions) - and it gave me scary answers.  I'll have the results within two weeks, and then we'll move on to what is next.

Anyways - what am I eating?

11:00- 1/3 cup Dry Roasted Edamame.  ( Yes, I'm on a kick *see yesterday's fresh edamame, and no it doesn't make me sick?!  It's a good thing that it doesn't make me sick.  So, it's NOT SOY that bothers me.  Moving on!  YAY! )
1:00- 1/3 cup Dry Roasted Edamame (And, now it's gone.) + a chocolate chip cookie, or two.  ( For the Sake Of Blogging, you must know that the spouse is home today - and when he's home - he makes JUNK like cookies or BANANA BREAD.  He's a pain in the ass and there's Only So Many Times I Can Throw The Crap AWAY.)
5:00pm- 1 Subway Mini Sub (Turkey, Provolone + Veggies - and these?!  Are the perfect size!  More on this later.)
7:00pm- 1 slice pizza

The day is over.  Tomorrow I start "work" again - I probably won't write much about it unless it's something highly positive or funny - because, work + blogging doesn't mesh, we know this.  I'm doing two or three full days this week, since Bob has some extra time off, and then two or three part time days later on.  It's not nearly enough cash to really help out in any capacity, so I can't work more - but... it will buy the groceries.

Oh, he got a call this afternoon from the Very Large Financial Institution.  He has The Interview in Boston in a week, during his vacation.  I'm not going to ask anybody to do voo-doo or cross fingers, because, it bombed last time.  Do me a favor, don't do anything, maybe that will do the trick this time?  I'm not above begging, though.
